When a beautiful blue parakeet named Charlie Blue seems sad, his family gets concerned.
They plan to bring him to the veterinarian the next day, but he wants to be with the birds outside, and he flies away before they have the chance.
Charlie Blue only wants to explore, but when he looks down, he doesn't see his yard anymore. None of the family members he's grown to love is looking up at him. He's lost!
Things take a turn for the worse when he sees a black cat with green eyes looking at him. Desperate for water, he can't even drink because the cat is waiting for him to make a wrong move.
