Attribution theories assume that people are motivated to maintain meaning in their own behavior as well as in the world about them. To this end, attribution processes are important in the individuals' attempts to understand and interpret the possible causes for their own actions, feelings, and attitudes. The book has five parts. In the first part, background and rationale for the empirical study is presented. In the second part, related literatures are intensively reviewed. In the third part, the research design/methodology is justified. In the fourth section, data is presented and analyzed. In the final part, discussion of the finding and conclusions are made. In compiling this empirical study, sample data was collected from pupils of junior secondary schools in Ethiopia.
