Captives: a novel

Captives follows Lúc's journey from a Vietnamese college to his arrival in the US. To say his life is hellish would be an understatement. What's it like to love and to be haunted by that love? What's it like to fight on the opposing side against your lover in the Vietnam War? What's it like to fight for your country? What would it be like to meet a lover who'd died years prior?
