The RF28mm F2.8 Stm lens is a super-compact, wide-angle lens great for travel, street photography, and video and is a great entry point for full frame Eos R cameras. Great for still photography and videography, 28mm has been the starting point for getting a wide-angle ""look"" in pictures and video for decades - wide enough on a full-frame camera, to have a distinct wide-angle character, and yet not so wide that it becomes a challenge to use. This lens absolutely can also be used with Aps-c sensor Eos R-series cameras, like the Eos R7, R10, and R50. Its super-compact design combines beautifully with them, and on an Aps-c sensor, it provides coverage equal to a standard 45mm lens. Its super-flat design belies the fact that this lens delivers 28mm wide-angle coverage on full frame cameras, along with an f/2.8 maximum aperture.
