Part I consists of two chapters of instructional narrative on the benefits and know-how of dispersed camping as well as a sober analysis of the safety and security issues involved. It guides the reader with a light hand to the knowledge and skills necessary to be able to camp in the Forest at large successfully, responsibly, and confidently. Part II lists the locations of literally hundreds of campsites throughout the Forest. In addition to GPS coordinates and turn-by-turn directions, the book provides detailed descriptions of the campsite locations and even informs the reader about cell phone hot spots in the Forest.
