Burning Bridges

One night, Paula endured something so horrific, that it made her realize that she needs to do what is best for her and her young daughters. They left Leo, and moved to her mother's farmhouse. Fifteen years later, Abby's mother is working to support her family. Having been tortured by the memories of Leo's wrath, Abby got into trouble. She was using drugs, drinking, and engaging in risky behavior. Paula and Kara talked Abby into going to rehab for 90 days. During those 90 days, Paula ran into Leo while in town. The two start talking. Leo tries to make amends for his behavior, while harboring a dark secret: he was not who he appeared to be. Leo scams his way back into Paula's good graces, and they rekindle their romance. Having turned a new leaf, Abby completes rehab and is happier than she has ever been in her life. When she arrives home, however, that happiness is met with betrayal and fear. She sees Leo. Abby keeps a close eye on Leo. She put up a front around Leo because she knew he was hiding something. She did not trust him, and she would do anything to protect her mother. When tragedy hits Paula once again, Abby confronts Leo, with Kara mediating the confrontation. Leo was never seen alive again. When his body is discovered by a man in a kayak, police search for clues as to how this man died. They interview Paula, Kara, Abby, and anyone who knew Leo. Who killed Leo and how did they do it?
