Burden of Duty

A Murderer among Murderers Tasked with discovering the killer of SS officers and their families across Germany in 1943, Captain Peter Stressler of the Kriminalpolizei must navigate complex Nazi politics and his hatred for what Germany became under the Third Reich. His work on the case wins him the ire of the Gestapo. With Major Wilhelm Berger and his Gestapo goons breathing down his neck, he gets caught between doing his job and war. Pursuing the case forces Peter to make choices that endanger himself and those he loves.
