I first told this story to my youngest grandson when he was four years old. Immediately after I finished, he looked at me and said, "Poppa, is that a true story?" So, I thought my answer might be worth sharing with all you parents. You can tell your little ones that someone once asked if this story is true. The answer is yes - the part about love is true, because love never fails, and it is always forever. The words in red are to let the little ones join in the storytelling process.
