Broken Addict, Fractured Recovery

The question of how to define addiction has been going on since the beginning of time. Some have said it is a choice. Others an 'allergy'. Still others a disease. Considering that addiction is in many ways all of these and none of these this book argues that it is a disease of choice's broken, allergies flaring up and a disease of the deepest nature. Broken addict: looks at the progress from a choice or allergy to a disease. In looking at the second part as Fractured Recovery we look at key points of treatment considering the possibility that what is missing has more to do with change than with a focus on the single form.
