Based on a little-known episode from ancient Roman history, Brave Cloelia tells the exciting story of a girl whose fearlessness made her a national heroine. Cloelia, a young girl in ancient Rome held captive by an Etruscan king, plots an escape for forty hostages, but honors a pledge made to the king to return and the king, out of admiration, grants her and the other hostage their freedom.
