Jake Kovac, a disgruntled Pittsburgh detective looks forward to changing his life. His dreams of fly fishing and owning a ranch in Montana are derailed with the murder of Anita Delorane, a wealth socialite and wife of a prominent Senator poised to be the next President of the United States. As Jake investigates he is pulled into a world of political corruption, sexual obsession and personal betrayal while hunting for the missing Senator in the wilds of Montana.
