Half-elf ranger Sereggul Bladesong, clever gnome Gawin Wildbelch, the mysterious elf wizard Angaea, and the grim drow cleric Arthgath find themselves drawn from one peril to the next: the besieged town of Nightstone, the deadly halls of Grudd Haug, and finally into the company of Harshnag the Grim, a frost giant who seeks the Eye of the All-Father.
