Black Lake in Bloomington, MN

People go missing all the time. But when Mark Lamb is able to trace disappearances that occur once a year back to a small summer camp for children, he is ready to investigate the horrors that lie beneath. A twelve year old Mark Lamb is sent to Camp Black Lake and all he can think about is how much he wants to leave. But when one of the counselors ends up dead, Mark has the memory of their death burned into his mind. Ten years later Mark receives a mysterious phone call from the dead counselor asking him to come back to camp. If Mark refuses, he allows more people to die. But if he answers, he risks falling back into an investigation that could ruined his life forever. Mark will be forced to make a choice as he struggles with his own selfish obsessive nature and investigates what really happened all those years ago, and how to prevent it from ever happening again.
