Economic progress and ecological balance always have conflicting interests. The necessities and comforts of human beings, invariably robs the ecological structure, of the nature. The exploitation of fish populations provides some classic examples of disastrous exploitation of renewable resources. Often it is possible to prevent such extinction by proper management.
