Becoming Big

is the heroic tale about a boy named Squid who is very short, inquisitive and sensitive but is unfairly considered odd by other children for being "different"... he looks like a squid. During a wintery morning walk to school, Squid encounters one of his schoolmate bully's in a very dire situation. Squid must then decide whether to help this tormentor or leave him to fend for himself. Up to that moment, Squid spent his entire life being picked on for not looking or behaving like most other kids then suddenly, our protagonist has an opportunity to return some of that aggression or turn the other cheek. Even though Squid has always been judged by how he looks on the outside, after a very caring decision, it becomes obvious that it has always been whats inside him that truly counts.
