Because of Riley

Kass has been better. She is over the two-year hump of losing her older brother and best friend, Riley, to Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Although she puts on a tough exterior, inside she is lost, scared, and in desperate need of something happy. She is a second-year undergraduate student at Norman University, and has decided to major in pre-med to be an oncologist one day. As Kass goes through what appears to be the motions, she discovers herself more than she ever has before. As life happens along the way, Kass is forced to make some choices that will make her question everything she has ever known. Is this her way of coping? Is this really owning up to her calling? Will she truly find happiness? Is everything that is happening all because of Riley?
