Ten years after leaving his wife Christine and their Five-year-old daughter, Jessica, Kyle Dawson returns home after being in prison for robbery and drug possession. Sober, with a new outlook on life, and with the help of his friend Trent, he works to regain the once shattered trust of his daughter. Jessica is careful not to reveal to her father the dark secrets she harbors; drugs, abuse and domestic violence are all part of the only life she has ever known.
