Beauty Behind the Scars is an uplifting memoir of one woman's journey through an unexpected breast cancer diagnosis and a guide to help you heal life's deepest wounds. In late 2019, Atlanta schoolteacher and woman of faith Latisia Jones decided to randomly undergo a breast exam, after suddenly losing her oldest sister, and having her mother recently win her second battle with breast cancer.As the threat of COVID-19 swept our world, Latisia heard nothing back from her doctors and went on with regular life managing her classroom, attending church, and dating her boyfriend.
