"So there we sat in the plush restaurant, served by friendly waiters all dressed in white, as the sun started to set on the Atlantic Ocean through the large windows and we drank Portuguese red wine and talked about our plans and our dreams as happy Portuguese songs played in the background. It seemed right at that moment that the world was indeed our oyster. Cody and I were finally free and in love. We had done it. It was hard to believe we had and I thought back at those times when we were both huddling for warmth back in the Pit and we had first talked and fantasized about Portugal.
