Attribution Theory in the Organizational Sciences: Theoretical and Empirical Contributions (PB)

Wallace (U. of Maryland) and contributors describe current research in multiracial and multiethnic identities, and apply those descriptions to classroom teaching with essays and case studies. They first examine research on theoretical and methodological aspects of these identities, working from the point of view of scholarship. They describe how this research applies to various age groups of multiracial and multiethnic students, including middle and high school children. They also include material on multiethnic Asian children, biracial identity, the effects of friendships, the role of the school in supporting healthy identity development, and the role of teachers who are sensitive to diverse learners.
