Ashes to Ashes

Alexander Grahams' mother died from heart disease fifteen days ago. Everything kept going downhill from there. Coming out for who they are plagues Alexander's mind, but their father is severely conservative. Then having to move back to their home town, Alexander dreads seeing familiar faces. Louise Barnes being one of them; their childhood bully. Louise is stuck in a medial stage of reform, because she's rather preoccupied with investigating Shane Hyde. The only person in town without a Daemon. Daemons; long shadowy entities that drain their host's life and energy; have taken up residence in Pine Creek, Oregon - a place cut out from the outside world. Alexander wants nothing to do with Louise - though she becomes clingy when a Daemon claims Alexander's father but Alexander is left untouched. It is only a matter of time before Shane hears about it, and confronts them - and when he does, the two cause sparks to fly. But only Hell would know why.
