A veteran detective in the Los Angeles homicide division hunts the man who has yet to become one of the most famous killers of all time. Set in 1967, Sam Hodiak (David Duchovny) investigates a series of crimes that lead him to the mysterious, beguiling cult leader Charles Manson (Gethin Anthony). Wanting to learn more about this engimatic, dangerous figure, Hodiak goes undercover to infiltrate Manson's inner circle, viewing the unique, turbulent hippie subculture of the late Sixties from multiple different perspectives. ~ Tom Ciampoli
