I wrote this book in memory of William Dean Richardson in hopes that you would be able to have a sense of who he was as a child, adult and soldier. As you read this book you will be told the story of a young man who made the brave decision to become an American Soldier. Who dedicated his life in the most Noble and Honorable way that anyone can serve his or her country. Medals and decorations awarded to CPL William Dean Richardson include: The Purple Heart, the Bronze Star with Valor, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Combat Infantry Badge, and the Parachutist Badge.
