It's a double headed bill of teenage high jinks. Two short run series, MEET MERTON and ANDY were low on issues but big on fun. MEET MERTON was published by Toby in 1953. Most of the art was created by future Mad Magazine star Dave Berg. The comic also included one page gags by Mel Lazarus who went on to create the popular Miss Peach comic strip. Andy was a two issue series published by Ace Comics in June 1948. It started with issue #20 taking over the numbering from Scream Comics and ended with issue #21. The two issues were packed with lots of fun artwork by Sam Singer and Ruth Atkinson. Ultimately the series was renamed after one of the back-up characters, Ernie. Here are two entertaining yet forgotten gems of the teen humor genre. THIS BOOK IS AVAILABLE IN BOTH HARDCOVER AND TRADE PAPERBACK AS WELL AS IN FULL COLOR OR GLORIOUS BLACK & WHITE.
