An Unladylike Murder: A Jessica Sloan Mystery

Jill Gillberry has broken the glass ceiling in Silicon Valley and is running a bleeding edge medical device company. She is found dead in an otherwise empty ladies restroom at the Orpheum Theatre even though she had two bodyguards standing outside.The baffling case is assigned to rookie Detective Jessica Sloan. The odds are against her. She's the only female detective in Homicide and Detective John Cutter has been told to take her as a partner or retire. Complicating matters, Sloan and Cutter are told to use new Artificial Intelligence software that will help detectives identify suspects. Cutter knows it's an effort to reduce headcount within the department.
