This is the story of an Episcopal mission's first century in a Long Island village. Its beginnings were humble, and its congregation oftentimes small. Yet, just as in Henry V's army, Christ Church could also be known as "we few, we happy few, we band of brothers." Here, perseverance and resilience were passed on from each generation to the next. Its early history is a testimony to a people of faith and trust.
