An Appalachian Nightmare in Bloomington, MN

After the devastating losses of both her mother and her closest friend, Jesse is stuck. Her station in life is one familiar to so many in Appalachia: working odd jobs and getting by, finding a husband and accepting a life which doesn't meet her fullest dreams. After her husband leaves, though, she's at a precipice. That's when she meets Theodore and everything changes. Reluctantly falling in love, Jesse doesn't know Theodore has a secret, one all too familiar in her world, and one she already saw kill her closest friend.
