Charles Owen Zachary Young (Cozy) 32, handsome, charismatic, is a product of privilege and with a trust fund and a partnership in a law firm he has everything most people would want. After saving someone's life and being given a simple commission in Dubai he encounters, for the first time, Hannah, the 12 year-old daughter of a colleague. Two years later, he meets her again in very different circumstances. Becoming a confidant of Hannah he helps her through almost insurmountable difficulties, whilst she in turn, provides him with a perspective on his own life he had never seen. As they grow closer, Cozy, now a lost, semi alcoholic, itinerant playboy, is suddenly confronted by Hannah, with a dilemma that threatens to tear him apart morally and ethically and stretch, change and reshape the bounds of that friendship.
