American Crumble

A short tale. Taking a break from their busy schedules, the Devil and Death pack their pitchfork and scythe and go ice-fishing in blizzard-stricken Wisconsin. It doesn't take long for boredom to set in. Where better to spend a snowy day than the local Off-Track-Betting facility in the company of a few dozen retired auto-factory workers? The small-time losers shuffling around in there, pockets turned inside-out, are in for some memorable lessons in big-time losing.
