Physics is the description of this universe and everything in it. Even chemistry is a special case of atomic physics, and life sciences are special cases of organic chemistry. Physics is pervasive. Everything that is of this universe is a part of physics. Nevertheless, there are phenomena that are regularly observed that are not described by physics. These include miraculous healings of incurable diseases, interactions with benevolent spirits and harassment by malevolent ones. All these involve entities that are from outside our 3-dimensional universe. They are not constrained by the laws of physics and sometimes momentarily operate outside them. This book begins with a summary of what is known about our universe -- from the Big Bang to the present -- all from the study of science. It then presents published evidence of phenomena that are totally inconsistent with science -- interactions with angels, struggles with demons, the creation of matter "ex nihilo," and miraculous healings of medically incurable diseases. The result does not undermine science, but rather suggests that science is a part of something larger -- something that is all around us -- all the time. It gets at the question of what is the real "grand scheme of things," and it does so in a scholarly and practical manner. It also shows how our common sense ideas about God are often wrong -- just as they are often wrong about science. Common sense can be deceptive. Among other matters, the book points out many ways in which God seems very odd by our way of thinking. However, it also points out that the study of physics, from the tiniest elementary particles to the largest galaxies, shows that the universe (God's handiwork) really is odd (relativity, the uncertainty principle, quantum entanglement, etc.). We have learned to accept the universe with its counterintuitiveness; why not Almighty God, its Creator?----------------------------------------------------------------This book is interactive in the sense that readers are invited to comment on a website and thereby contribute to a possible future edition. About the AuthorThomas Rhea is a physicist and believer who has studied these issues for several decades. His observations and reasoning are noteworthy - and unexpected. He presents solid, convincing evidence for his conclusions.
