'Albert's Intriguing Salcombe Adventure' was created by the pupils of
Salcombe Church of England Primary School
in Devon as part of the
Albert Mouse Book for Schools Project.
The pupils have also provided illustrations, including the front cover.
Albert plans to take a sea voyage to the nearby town of Salcombe with his friend Big Tony. Albert's mother has concerns as it's the first sea trip her son has taken, but when Albert gets some training from Reg, the rat with the wooden leg, she finally agrees to let the trip go ahead.
However, almost as soon as Albert arrives in Salcombe he gets himself into trouble.
This adventure involves chocolate, sea, a giant crab and Salcombe's famous ice cream!
Will Big Tony be there to save him and will Albert ever make it back to Dartmouth alive?
