In India, state Uttar Pradesh bears a major responsibility in maintaining the food security. During the last four decades, agriculture sector in the state has witnessed a convincing growth. However, there exists wide variations in natural resources, agricultural infrastructure and thus agricultural Production across different regions of the state.
