Acrobatic Amy

Acrobatic Amy is a children's poetry book that lends itself as an excellent teaching tool for many facets of the English language. Targeting grades K-3, young students will learn alphabetical order, short and long vowels, rhyme, rhythm, and alliteration. In addition, children can be guided in character building based upon the varied personalities represented in each poem. Second and third grade students can take on the challenge of writing their own poems. At the end of the book, there are helpful teaching points to assist beginning teachers, homeschoolers, and parents.
