The is my journey with my ex-buddy "just a beer." This is the reality of what "just a beer" took from my life and the reality of Alcoholism before, during and afterward. We are bombarded each and every day with messages in music, advertising, music in movies, on the highway, everywhere to give up, give in because it's "just a beer" and it couldn't possibly hurt you or me. This is a lie. I don't hold the golden ticket on recovery but I do have over 150,000+ hours sober and although I have changed people, places and things, alcohol is never done chasing you or me! I am here to create awareness and to let you know that your life does matter. You matter to me. There are possibly millions of books on recovery but none that I have read that are truly authentic for the Average person. This is my story of what "just a beer" took from my life as I chased a Musical Dream. God spared my life for you to be reading my words.
