A Walk in My Shoes is a recollection of actual events-a terse journal of the journey before recovery and how a girl reclaimed her life.Andrea was your typical adopted girl, being raised up right. But as she grew into a young woman, she discovered life's journey was much more difficult than she had thought. She got into some trouble and easily fell into the wrong crowd and into drugs and alcohol. As Andrea fell deeper into the black hole of the drug world, she met shady characters along the way, and heinous acts against her unfold as she is brutally exposed to the ugly side of the world that still exists today. In her struggle, she embarks on a journey of healing and finds a way out through hope and perseverance. This is her story.
