A VOTE FOR MURDER in Bloomington, MN

Connor Desouza is a traffic cop in Sacramento, CA, who wants to be a detective but is having a terrible time passing the exam for this promotion. Brenda McKinney is the junior attorney in her law firm that employed her three years ago. Since then she has been biding her time to do some substantial courtroom cases while being given all the crummy tasks that the other lawyers in the firm don't want to do. Two significant events change their lives. First of all, they start dating. This they see as a very positive experience. The second one is when Connor stumbles across Cherry Bloom's ghost. She was an aspiring porn actress who unfortunately got herself killed. One of the problems she has as a ghost is trying to remember her life and who killed her. Connor accepts the challenge to find the person or persons who killed her, and Brenda assists him in this endeavor. By doing this everybody's life is in jeopardy, well except for Cherry's because she is already dead.
