A Taste Of Tokay

Family secrets and tragic events haunt the life of Sophie Molnar. In a small town in Hungary, 1918, she is forced into a marriage with the brother of her true love. He leaves her alone and pregnant to find his fortune in America. Tragedy strikes and her husband Freddie returns to take her back to the states. There, they try to make the marriage work and create a life for themselves. But Freddie is a scoundrel and Sophie is haunted by her past and wants to return to Hungary. Finally she has enough money to take her 4 daughters back to her hometown, to find the answers to questions that have haunted her. But instead of the happiness she seeks, her arrival awakens old memories and brings more tragedy to her family.
