A Sea of Expectations

Poems full of trust in the good in humans, of hope for a world of community and safety, a world that is one big soul - interwoven with a lurking sense of insecurity and guilt. But also about our responsibility to and deep dependence on nature. And about the unending search for the inner essence of love, parting and reunion, want and pain, astounding travels through the landscapes of happiness and longing, infatuation and despair - and the eternal hope fuelled by a belief in love as life's most powerful energy and driving force. His poetry collection (1988) was published in Arabic in 1999, and in 2012 and 2016, two volumes of his poetry were published in Polish. Some of his poems have among other languages also been published in English, Greek, Persian, Spanish, and Swedish. His travel book with his own photos was published in English in 2008. He has performed at various venues including music and literature festivals, high schools and libraries, combining his own poetry, music and photos.
