A college freshman is drugged and raped by her senior boyfriend. She endures months of emotional abuse through his gaslighting as she silently struggles to overcome the shame and guilt. Afraid that more violence may ensue if she tells her parents, she keeps the toxic relationship a secret. She is the first member of her large Hispanic family to go to college, and she has much to lose. However, when he becomes physically abusive, she realizes that her life is worth more than him.
