Cody's first visit was in 2013; the second annual trip that he and his brother Doug used to take before their travel plans were sidelined by film shoots, doctor's visits, and the pandemic of 2020. Watching Manhattan zoom into sight from the window of the plane and the excitement building in his soul didn't even compare to the sound and smell that hit him while waiting for the 7 to take him from Queens to Grand Central Station in Manhattan. While he wishes he could have spent more than a handful of days wandering around the city, the few things they saw and did is enough memories to last the rest of their life.
