This documentary profiles a group of Muslim policewomen from Bangladesh as they are sent to Haiti as part of a UN peacekeeping force in the aftermath of that country's devastating 2010 earthquake. Directed by Geeta Gandbhir and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, A Journey of a Thousand Miles: Peacekeepers made its world premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.
