Those were the number of people who were killed in Mexico from 2006-2012; (and is still ongoing), as well as the number of soldiers that patrol the streets of the country daily; Followed by the percentage of successful homicide investigations that lead to convictions. Just south of the border lies a country that has become so dangerous, that the most high profile criminals operate with impunity and are allowed to go free, in what are called prison "escapes."
