This is a lively, often funny, intellectual Odyssey trying to answer questions about human wisdom: What characterizes the wise? Which traditional wisdoms have become doubtful? What modern wisdoms have superseded those of our ancestors? Is the same wisdom unconditionally valid in all situations?
