It is written from a positive and humorous lens but the messages are inarguably important, timely, and interesting. The author's background is in education/educational leadership. She is currently a high school principal and before becoming an administrator, she was a secondary-level teacher and school counselor. Her professional experiences and dissertation focus allowed her to grow her expertise in character education and social emotional learning, two areas she grew to become very passionate about and two areas of the utmost importance.
