This running journal is based on a culmination of everything I have liked as a runner. I like to be able to track the important stuff, have room for notes, and have a place for workout splits. I like to be able to note how supplemental requirements are going- if I am staying hydrated and eating enough. I know that doing things like stretching, core, and strength are important but I don't need a ton of space to note this. If you are like me, running is part of what you do and it is your place of reflection alongside exercising. Our lives outside of running blur with our running and this training journal is a simplistic, but complete, reflection on that.Goal Worksheets. What are you really working on? How are you going to get there?Monthly planning sheets. While plans change, it's still good to have a guide. Use these to map out your training and racing.Weekly planning guides. Go from a 30,000 foot view to a 10,000 foot view. Keep your week on point.Daily workout logs. Keep track of the essentials with a little room for keeping quality details.Weekly summary. Reflection on what went well, what didn't, and how we can improve moving forward.Notes pages. These are great for the ideas you come up with on runs, your race recaps, thoughts on your year, or whatever else you want to use them for.
