1st Eastnor Brownies 'Simply The Best'! 1967 - 2005: Personal Memories by Catherine Morton Lloyd & Jacky Bursnell in Bloomington, MN

This book documents the highlights and many milestones that the 1st Eastnor Brownies enjoyed from 1967 until 2005 with Jacky Bursnell as Brown Owl. For all the girls, some of whom had challenging circumstances to deal with in their own lives; Brownies, as part of 'Girlguiding', helped to provide a new perspective on life. The range of opportunities enabled them to make new friends, develop their self confidence and learn new skills in a fun and supportive environment; as well as enriching the local community. In later life ex-Brownies have described their time spent in the Pack as 'a life changing experience' and 'simply the best' Brownie Pack they could have joined! It therefore seemed appropriate to document this piece of local Herefordshire history.
