Esra, a clumsy but spirited farm girl, learns that she is the daughter of two Great Keepers, the most powerful sorcerers since the dawn of the Human age. She joins an Assembly of four others, the Keepers of Earth, Arms, Stealth, and Charm. Together, they begin the race against the clock to train Esra in the arts of war and magick, and to unite LeVara's nonhuman races against the threat that infects their land.
