John Billington was a young passenger on the Mayflower when it arrived in the New World. His adventures in his new home were filled with courage, bravery, and a deep respect for nature and all of its creatures. During one of John's adventures, his bravery and courage were fully tested. It was his love of nature and a new friend that saved him from certain harm. John's understanding and Kindness were rewarded in ways he never expected. His actions brought together the Pilgrims and the American Indian tribes for the first Thanksgiving and lasting peace.
