The adventures of Father Rex Macon continue when he is reunited with his friend Chief Walking Cloud. When the son of the Chief's friend is mysteriously killed after a strange archaeological discovery, he summons Father Rex to help him unravel the discovery and uncover why the federal government has become so involved. Together they find that they are part of a mission that has been in the works for thousands of years.
