It seems that the sudden and unexplained arrival of a, 'foreign woman' (sic) in Winchbury in 1540ad, was the start of everything that has happened in this picturesque little City, as described within this account. When the God-fearing townsfolk believed her to be a witch and dealt with her accordingly, that really should have been the end of the matter. But she was no witch, she was Vimr, a Vampiric Demon who slaughtered many before meeting her fate. Skip forward to modern day, in March / April last year we witnessed a surge of magical activity and supernatural beings entering the City; and those beings who already called Winchbury home awakening / became involved in the unfolding events. A spate of deaths (where no cause of death could be identified) was the start of events that grew stranger and stranger. Several seemingly unrelated events actually proved to be intertwined when the Vimr, who had laid dormant for centuries, recruited minions to help her. Lives were lost, good people died as they combined forces in the attempt to, 'once and for all' dispatch the Vimr forever. One thing you should know, the Human race is not the only race to have called this world home, and Winchbury is home to a variety of these other beings and their descendants. Winchbury is like a magnet to supernatural, even unnatural creatures. It was not until the events in Part 2.0 - 'Last of the Nephilim', that we actually discovered why.
